DirectHire NOW HIRING: FIRE SPRINKLER DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER 30– 48/HR (Based on Experience, NICET, RME-G) Central Texas | Full-Time | Direct Hire We are actively seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to join a growing and reputable team in Central Texas . What You’ll Be Doing: Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems (commercial&multifamily projects) Manage projects from pre-construction through completion Interpret blueprints, specs, and hydraulic calculations Coordinate with GCs, engineers, and field teams Oversee timelines, materials, and project execution Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations Design&Engineering Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications Prepare hydraulic calculations and preliminary calculations Develop detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and HydraCAD Coordinate BIM modeling and clash detection with other trades Conduct water flow tests and evaluate system requirements Review project plans, specifications, and code requirements Project Management Manage fire sprinkler projects from award through final closeout Prepare material lists and submit fabrication packages for quoting Release fabrication orders and coordinate with fabrication shops Order loose materials and track deliveries Process and manage change orders Assist estimating department with pricing and project support as needed Conduct regular project walks to monitor progress, quality, and installation accuracy Meet with foremen and field personnel to review project status, scheduling, manpower, and quality control Provide regular status updates to management and customers Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Closeout&Documentation What We’re Looking For: Experience in fire sprinkler design and/or project management NICET Certification (preferred – higher pay for higher levels) RME-G License (strongly preferred) Proficiency with design software (AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines What’s Offered: Competitive pay: $30 – $48/hour (based on certifications&experience) Full benefits package Stable, long-term work with a respected company Opportunity for growth into senior leadership roles Supportive team environment with strong project pipeline Call Today– Interviewing Now 512-258-5336 Or send your resume to get started.
