Job Description
Office Clerk Pay rate: $11/hr Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods by managing documentation, coordinating with drivers, tracking inventory, and communicating with customers.
Documentation Management: Preparing, printing, and verifying shipping documents, such as Bills of Lading (BOL), invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
Order Processing: Reviewing, verifying, and entering shipment orders into the company's warehouse management system.
Shipment Tracking & Coordination: Tracking inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating driver routes, and scheduling carrier pickup/delivery times.
Inventory Assistance: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and updating inventory records for accuracy.
Communication: Acting as the point of contact for carriers, drivers, and customers regarding order status, shipment errors, or discrepancies.
Administrative Tasks: Filing documents, answering phones, data entry, and producing daily reports on shipping activities or inventory levels.
