Job Title: Consultant - Java Developer

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA

This opportunity is for long term contract/consulting assignments. Compensation will depend on experience.

Responsibilities of the Consultant - Java Developer:

Design, develop, implement, and maintain java application phases, code, and software. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle Test, implement and maintain application software Recommend changes to improve established java application processes Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Requirements of the Consultant Java Developer:

• BS in Computer Science or similar
• Sun certified Java a Plus
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Experience with JavaScript application frameworks, debugging tools, and unit testing frameworks preferred
• Understanding of UX design principles
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell programming
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with various design patterns
