Bookkeeper
Our client's law firm in Center City, Philadelphia, is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, including 1 year in a law firm.
This position is onsite initially then moving to hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing and the General Ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analyses
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts
- Help prepare budgets and assist with year-end tax planning
- Follow and enforce company policies
Qualifications:
- Experience with Paycom or similar time and attendance software
- Knowledge of Thomson Elite 3E billing software or similar is a plus
Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Self-motivated team player who respects confidentiality
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 1 year in a law firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
