Mold Maintenance Technician (Installation, Maintenance, and …, Felton

Hours could be 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm (paid lunch, you choose which schedule works best for you). You will receive hands-on experience working directly with our Tool Maker. This position will be responsible for cleaning molds and completing PM's on molds. Will work with Engineering to make changes and repairs to molds and with production to assist with solving molding issues related to the mold. - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures - Set up and operate conventional tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc. - Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products - Repair or modify tools and dies as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S), be willing to help clean and organize shop/mold repair area. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in toolmaking would be beneficial - Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
