Engineering Jobs: Senior Bridge Project Engineer, Farmington Hills

At Tetra Tech we are currently accepting applications for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation team in Farmington Hills, MI on a full-time basis. You will be involved with bridge design, analysis and inspection projects and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.

• 
  
• Design bridges and culverts
  
• Preparing project construction quantity calculations and cost estimates
  
• Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD
  
• Load rate analysis of bridges
  
• Site visits to support the design process
  
• Preparing structural evaluation studies and similar reports
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering (structural focus)
  
• 6-15 years of experience in bridge design and inspection
  
• Certified Professional Engineer
  
• Additional experience in roadway engineering design, a plus
  
• Qualifications and experience as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader
  
• Experience with applicable computer software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, LEAP Bridge, AASHTOWare BR, etc.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Proven success in delivering high quality projects
  
• Must possess a valid driver license, with a favorable driver’s record and maintain
