Meat Processing Equipment Operator, Arizona

Works with the Ground Beef Team to make sure product is produced correctly and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties: 

Operates a Formax Machine, Hollymatic, Vemag, grinders, and packaging machines 

Counts all finished cases and records them on appropriate logs and makes sure all product is packed according to specifications

Separates rework from paper and places them in bins for rework and tracks all weights of rework product and records on appropriate forms. 

Cleans around work areas. Assists in all other areas of ground beef production line, including equipment setup and breakdown, box making, casing, labeling, stacking, weighing, recordkeeping, etc. 

Follows HACCAP regulations, Shamrock Policies, and safety procedures

Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Demands 

Regularly standing and walking

Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls

Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds

Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds

Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
