Job Title: Remote Public Relations Officer

Hourly Pay: $22  - $40/hour

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the organization’s image and reputation

Draft press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials to communicate company news and announcements

Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers

Organize and manage press conferences, media interviews, and other PR events

Monitor media coverage and track industry trends to ensure the company stays relevant

Handle crisis communication and address negative media coverage with proactive solutions

Coordinate internal communications to ensure consistent messaging across departments

Assist with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to complement PR efforts

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, community members, and industry leaders

Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

2+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

Experience in media outreach and managing relationships with journalists

Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations

Proficient in media monitoring tools and social media platforms

Excellent problem-solving and crisis communication abilities

Knowledge of PR strategies and media industry trends
