Set in Caslon. Number 107 of 571 copies printed on Bruce Rogers rag paper, signed by the author upon the half-title. Title-page in black with grey ornamented border. Quarler slate-blue cloth, titled and ornately decorated in gilt, marbled paper-covered boards (just slightly worn at extremities). Grey card slipcase with title label. A very good to fine copy. Designed by Frederic Warde and printed by William Edwin Rudge. Amongst others, the characters in the album are: Jane Welsh Carlyle, Mary Arnold, Emily Tennyson and Emily Palmerston.
