Full-Time | Exempt Position
Rieck Services is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, and take pride in accuracy and teamwork, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our accounting processes by managing vendor invoices, processing payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting daily accounting functions.
This position also offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge through cross-training and exposure to basic Accounts Receivable responsibilities.
What Youll Do:
Review and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
Prepare payments through check, ACH, and other approved methods
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments
Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
Support process improvements and special accounting projects
Provide backup support for basic Accounts Receivable functions when needed
Participate in cross-training initiatives to support departmental coverage
Assist with general office support duties including mail runs, bank deposits, and phones as needed
Requirements:
What Were Looking For:
35 years of Accounts Payable experience
Associate degree preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and support others
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
