The Hospice Social Worker, MSW provides clinical supervision to the Hospice Social Work Assistants, directs social work services to patients and their families, under the direction of a physician, in consultation with the hospice interdisciplinary team and other organizational staff as appropriate regarding patient/family social and emotional concerns.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities for Social Worker MSW include:
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
One (1) year of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
Working knowledge of computers.
Microsoft Word and Excel required.
