Civil Engineer – EIT

Contract to Hire

Pittsburgh, PA - Philadelphia, PA OR Cleveland, OH - Columbus, OH.

EIT required.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform project tasks involving site investigation, evaluation of permitting requirements, evaluation of environmental conditions, and determination.

Site civil grading in AutoCAD.

Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts and associated civil engineering activities.

Perform quantity calculations.

Prepare specifications and contract documents.

Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.

Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.

Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

EIT Required

Five+ years of experience.

State certification in permitting for oil and gas regulations

Preparation and submission of ESCGP-3s; GPs; JPAs; Nationwide 12 applications; and PAG-2s, HOPs, or utility permitting in PA, WV, OH, and NY.

Microsoft Office and Google Earth.

Hydrologic and hydraulic programs such as TR-55/HydroCAD and StormCAD and other design programs (CAD and GIS).
