The Dispatcher will be trained to fully master both dispatching and delivering to ensure deep understanding.
/ph3Role Overview/h3pThe Dispatcher supports daily operations by coordinating drivers, monitoring routes in real time, managing communication, troubleshooting on-road issues, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery execution.
This is a hands-on role requiring open availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
/ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pstrongDaily Dispatch Driver Support/strong/pulliCoordinate daily delivery associate check-in/check-out, route assignment, and van allocation/liliMonitor delivery routes in real time using routing tools/liliTrack safety compliance, delivery metrics, and route performance throughout the day/liliAssist drivers with on-road issues: navigation, package rescues, delays, accidents, or escalations/liliMaintain high level of communication with the team during dispatch windows/liliSupport shift changes, break tracking, and end-of-day closeout/li/ulpstrongOperational Excellence/strong/pulliTroubleshoot issues quickly to minimize route delays/liliDocument daily performance metrics and contribute to operational improvement plans/liliEnsure vans are deployed safely, fueled, and fleet concerns are reported immediately/liliMaintain records, logs, and dispatch notes for operational reporting/li/ulpstrongDelivery Associate Mastery (Required)/strong/pulliComplete full DA training and pass certification/liliRun routes as needed for coverage, training, or operational understanding/liliServe as an example of safe driving, customer obsession, and delivery standards/li/ulpstrongLeadership Track Responsibilities/strong/pulliAssist with onboarding, DA coaching, and performance feedback/liliHelp implement a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence/liliTake on increased responsibilities as the company grows (DA Manager, Ops Manager, etc.)/li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliMust be at least 21 years old/liliValid drivers license with a clean driving record/liliOpen availability - mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays/liliComfortable working 40+ hours per week/liliStrong communication and organizational skills/liliAbility to problem-solve quickly under pressure/liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform delivery duties when needed/li/ulpPreferred but not required:/pulliExperience as a dispatcher, delivery driver, courier, rideshare driver, warehouse associate, or similar/liliExperience in fast-paced, logistics, customer service, or operations environments/li/ulh3Growth Opportunities/h3pThis role is intentionally designed to grow with the company.
