Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

This role supports daily production and warehouse operations by performing a variety of general labor tasks, including loading and unloading materials and assisting with basic production activities. You work a consistent daytime schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, contributing to an efficient and safe workflow across the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks to support production and warehouse operations throughout the shift.
  • Load and unload materials, products, and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Assist with general production activities as directed to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Support warehouse operations by organizing, staging, and moving materials as needed.
  • Operate or assist with operating a forklift when required and if authorized and trained.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while handling materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and priorities.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to perform general labor and production tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Capability to safely lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
  • Experience with loading and unloading materials in a warehouse or production setting.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and material handling practices.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding work on your feet for most of the day.
  • Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in general production or manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus and may be used in this role.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monongahela, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.65 - $18.25/hr.
