Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate LIVE-IN Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) available throughout Somerset and Middlesex Counties. Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and conversation

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders

Assistance with grooming and bathing

Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey

High School Graduate or GED

Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Ability to lift, push, pull 25 lbs

Ability to bend, twist and reach
