Software Developer Engineer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Software Developer Engineer for a contract-to-hire position in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

A Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining systems, applications, networks, and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Key responsibilities include:

Assessing system, application, and network needs.

Providing modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality.

Evaluating and implementing new advanced technologies.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Java 17 or greater and Spring Boot.

Experience with RESTful services and OpenShift.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint.

Understanding of software security tools like Fortify and Sonatype.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) for development.
