Job Title: Associate Technology Engineer
Job Location: South Plainfield, NJ (Hybrid role)
Job Duration: 9-10 Months(possibility of extension )
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Payrate: $70.00 - $73.00/hr on w2
Job Responsibilities:
The position will primarily be focus on supporting the building and maintenance of the CYME equipment and Network database.
Develop one line substation drawing in CYME software. CYME distribution model that integrated with GIS and PI system.
Experience working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering.
Design, configuration, development, documentation and testing of CYME Applications solutions to meet business or technology requirements.
Evaluation of existing CYME application solutions to determine fit for purpose for the new business or technology requirements.
Recommendation of technology alternatives.
Collaboration with other individuals to ensure proper integration of the new technology solution with the existing technology solutions.
Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements.
Own and develop day to day relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration as well as establish a deep understanding of our customers’ business and functional needs.
Provide product expertise in regards to functional needs and processes
Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization and identify product enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape.
Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations.
Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader.
Contribute to the strategic vision/plans Maintain and update.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors - Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS, geospatial analysis, SCADA and Python.
