Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets

Location: San Dimas
Hybrid schedule available after training
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: Up to $40/hour
A stable and well-established company is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong fixed assets experience to join its accounting team.
This role will focus heavily on fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle fixed asset accounting including asset setup, transfers, depreciation, and reclasses
• Perform subledger to general ledger reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain monthly fixed asset roll-forward schedules
• Analyze and organize large data sets while tying information back to supporting documentation
• Partner with internal teams on asset tracking and capital project close-outs
• Assist with capital project accounting and financial reporting support
• Review JD Edwards contract setups and recommend process improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting operations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of general ledger and/or fixed asset accounting experience
• Public company experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and large data set management
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) strongly preferred
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
