We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join a long-established organization in Pompano Beach, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can evaluate vendor relationships, drive cost savings, and bring fresh energy to purchasing operations. The right candidate will be confident in supplier discussions, persistent in pursuing better terms, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:• Lead purchasing activities by sourcing materials and services that align with company needs, budget goals, and delivery expectations. • Review current supplier agreements and pricing structures to identify opportunities for stronger value and more competitive terms. • Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable costs, service levels, and contract conditions that support operational efficiency.• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure accurate ordering and timely fulfillment. • Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers while holding partners accountable for quality, pricing, and responsiveness. • Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing priorities, anticipate demand, and resolve supply-related issues quickly.• Monitor purchasing records and department activity to maintain organized documentation and support reporting needs. • Follow up persistently on quotes, lead times, and order status to keep procurement moving without delays. • Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or a closely related supply chain role.• Demonstrated success negotiating pricing, contracts, or vendor agreements to improve business value. • Hands-on knowledge of purchase order processing and day-to-day purchasing operations. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.• Persistence and sound judgment when evaluating long-standing vendor relationships and identifying cost-saving opportunities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and follow through on deadlines. • Comfortable working on-site in Pompano Beach
