Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to ensure that both in-process and final products meet the highest standards. The role involves working on the floor and in the QC area to conduct thorough inspections of incoming products, as well as overseeing the testing processes. This position is integral to maintaining quality assurance and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Conduct visual inspections on the warehouse floor and during the receiving of incoming products.

Review and approve batch records from production staff.

Perform WIP internal inspections and approvals by LOT.

Conduct finished goods internal inspections and approvals by LOT.

Coordinate QC testing with outside laboratories and approve results by LOT.

Inspect raw material components and approve them based on manufacturer standards.

Review and ensure all SOPs and documentation are up to date.

Analyze customer complaint samples to determine root causes.

Collaborate with management on all NCRs related to product failures in the field.

Play a key role in process and continuous improvement for the QMS.

Ensure adherence to quality control procedures.

Essential Skills

2+ years of quality inspection experience.

Experience with batch records or lot numbers.

Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges.

Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.

Experience in a GMP environment.

Knowledge of SOPs and QA/QC processes.

Basic computer skills and experience with quality control software.

Familiarity with regulated standards like cGMP and ISO 9001.

Additional Skills&Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in maintaining inspection and batch records.

Computer documentation experience.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
