Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring an Accounting Manager to join our team!

As the Accounting Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Supervision of all accounting staff (AP, AR, PR)

Keep up-to-date on operations to understand how changes impact accounting processes

Oversee the accounting department to ensure the proper maintenance of all accounting systems

Oversee the preparation of the financial statements

Develop recommendations for financial improvement

Perform economic forecasting and modeling to provide critical financial and operational information

Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long term strategy

Collaborate with management to establish yearly budgets and financial objectives

Manage cash flow planning and coordinate AR lender drawdowns

Coordinate activities related to the outside auditors and lenders

Collaborate with Operations on special projects and workflow process improvements

Manage the company’s liability insurance programs

Perform price modeling for current and potential contracts

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting

10+ years proven accounting experience

5+ years as a senior-level accounting manager

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license preferred

In-depth knowledge of Payroll software (UKG a plus)

Excellent computer skills; experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and BI)

Proficiency with accounting software with a focus on streamlining accounting processes

Exceptional knowledge of regulatory standards (GAAP)

Exemplary history of financial project management

Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations

Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members
