Job Summary:

The Hotel Controller is in charge of financial matters involved in running a luxury hotel in Kennebunkport. You will monitor and approve financial decisions the hotel makes, as well as oversee financial reporting, investments, risk management, and cash flow analysis. You will prepare tax returns, financial statements, forecasts, budgets, profit and loss statements, and compliance reports for the business. Although this hotel is seasonal, open from May to October, this Controller position is a year-round opportunity. 

 

Qualifications:

•

• Willingness to learn and be flexible
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
  
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
  
• Experience in the hospitality/hotel industry preferred
