Job Description

Client is seeking a skilled Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing robust test automation frameworks and ensuring seamless integration with our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using preferred tools such as Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, TestNG, and SoapUI.

Create and implement robust test automation frameworks that align with project objectives and quality standards.

Collaborate with development teams to support Agile methodologies, including test-driven development (TDD) and static code analysis.

Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins and ensure that they run efficiently with each build.

Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify defects and ensure adherence to functional and non-functional requirements.

Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and best practices in testing and automation.

Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation and continuous integration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role in software testing and automation.

Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks: Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, TestNG, and SoapUI.

Experience with continuous integration tools, particularly Jenkins, and version control systems like GIT.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.

Familiarity with static code analysis tools and test-driven development (TDD) principles.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
