Transportation Coordinator, Providence

Overview:
Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a Transportation Coordinator position available in Franklin, MA! The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for arranging the delivery of merchandise to the customers, scheduling driver routes, rearranging routes when obstacle arise, working with dispatch, and other alike duties.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
You will:

Assign vehicles (Freight Trucks) to drivers based on our customers’ needs and adhere to the deadline of the warehouse

Monitor the timely deliveries of goods and services based on the shipment agreement

Maintain company policies and contractual agreements

Provide backup for the routing department

Perform other duties as assigned, to include special projects

Support of accident investigations and recommends corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with transportation related administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.

Have a thorough understanding of DOT regulations, promote safety initiatives, the ability to implement change, and perform.

Qualifications:
You have:

2+ years of experience working with the Roadnet Software

Microsoft Office proficiency
