Job Title: Human Resources Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core areas of Human Resources, including I-9 compliance, onboarding, orientation, and other essential HR projects. The intern will support compliance initiatives, contribute to a meaningful employee onboarding experience, and assist with various HR programs and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. I-9 Compliance and Audit

Assist in reviewing and auditing employee I-9 documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.

Support the implementation of corrective actions related to I-9 discrepancies.

Organize digital and paper records in a secure, accessible format.

Participate in process improvements for I-9 tracking and reporting.

2. Onboarding and Orientation

Assist in coordinating and executing new hire onboarding processes.

Support the planning and facilitation of employee orientation sessions.

Prepare onboarding packets and ensure completion of required documentation.

Gather feedback from new hires to recommend enhancements to the onboarding experience.

3. Other HR Projects as Needed

Contribute to initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, training, policy updates, and HR data management.

Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, scheduling, and reporting.

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve HR practices and programs.

Conduct research and benchmarking to support ongoing HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or related fields.
