JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for supporting Agile delivery teams by helping keep work organized, teams aligned, and delivery efforts moving forward effectively. The Scrum Master works closely with engineering teams, product owners, stakeholders, and leadership to support software development and digital initiatives while helping remove blockers, improve communication, and maintain delivery momentum. The role goes beyond facilitating Agile ceremonies and focuses on supporting team collaboration, accountability, delivery consistency, and overall team effectiveness.

This position requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities and challenges can shift quickly. Success in the role depends on strong communication, facilitation, relationship management, and the ability to support teams through challenges while maintaining collaboration, transparency, and delivery momentum. Overall, the role is focused on helping teams improve continuously, work effectively together, and deliver meaningful outcomes through practical and collaborative Agile practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Agile Team Support&Facilitation

Support Agile teams by facilitating delivery, removing obstacles, and promoting effective team collaboration

Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews

Help teams stay aligned on priorities, commitments, and delivery goals

Promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across teams

Delivery&Coordination

Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog management, sprint readiness, and delivery planning

Help track priorities, dependencies, risks, and action items across initiatives

Monitor sprint progress and team metrics to identify delivery risks and improvement opportunities

Support teams in adapting to changing priorities while maintaining focus and momentum

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build collaborative working relationships across Engineering, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and business teams.

Facilitate discussions that support alignment, communication, and problem-solving

Promote transparency between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership

Support Agile best practices and contribute to ongoing team and process improvements.

Continuous Improvement&Change Support

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, team collaboration, and delivery processes

Implement and support Agile metrics and reporting to help improve team delivery, visibility, and continuous improvement efforts

Help teams proactively address blockers and delivery challenges

Encourage a culture of adaptability, learning, and continuous improvement

Support Agile adoption and organizational change initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, or similar Agile delivery role within technology organizations

Understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery approaches

Experience supporting multiple projects or teams in fast-paced environments

Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills

Ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and support delivery effectiveness in evolving environments

Experience with Agile and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Planner, or similar platforms

Scrum Master certification preferred (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent)

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
