What you will be doing: Serves as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and the customer.Processes all documents and information requests received from GEODIS. Enters notes, information requests and document requests in Cargowise system. Sends information/document requests to company's employees, suppliers, service providers or overseas production offices as needed. Communicates with specified offices, departments, and teams on all issues affecting Air ExportFiles document requests, correspondence, and documents in a file folder identified by the applicable shipping number. Ensures operational procedures are in line with company needs. Ensures compliance with regard to TSA and/or government regulations. Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in exportation of goods, or an equivalent combination of both education and experienceExperience in freight forwarding. Knowledge of TSA and Government Agency requirements Knowledge of the movement of freight via air and/or truck PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel Ability to successfully pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) background screening.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
