This position is responsible for shipping and receiving procedure. This includes making sure all contents for a shipment are on the pallets. Loading pallets to ensure proper weight distribution and safe arrival of product to its destination without damage. Responsible for palletizing, stretch wrapping, and strapping of all shipments. Organization and upkeep of the warehouse. This includes product storage location to maximize space efficiently and making sure the warehouse is neat and clean at all times. May be involved with light fabrication and machine work.Other responsibilities include pulling/packaging small parts for shipping and assembly of fitness equipment for quality control and shipping purposes. Works directly with all company personnel to assist in any related projects. Facilitates upkeep, maintenance, and general cleaning of the building.Responsibilities also include cleaning and maintenance of office, grounds, and warehouse. This includes sweeping, trash removal inside and out, building maintenance, general cleaning of building, landscaping, and yard maintenance. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor · Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures · Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service · Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices· High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements: · Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. · Abilityto maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards· Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects · Must be able to carry maintenance equipment such as a backpack sprayer, leaf blower, ladder etc... · Must be able to be on your feet all day · Must have basic computer skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experienceExpected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Forklift: 2 years (Recommended) Language: English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Raleigh, NC 27610 (Required)Work Location: In person Company Description Batca Fitness has been a leading manufacturer of quality fitness equipment throughout the world for over 36 years.
