ASAP Job Overview We are urgently hiring an experienced

CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator

for a trusted precision CNC machine shop in Apex, NC. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who is looking for steady, long-term work with competitive pay, strong benefits, and room for growth.

Responsibilities As a CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator, you will: Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines

Work with 3-axis, 4-axis, 3+2, and horizontal milling centers

Perform tooling setups and make tool offset adjustments

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet tight tolerance requirements

Maintain machine accuracy and quality throughout production

Troubleshoot machining issues as needed

Follow all safety procedures and production standards

Work closely with engineering and production teams to support quality and efficiency Requirements Qualified candidates should have: 10+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience

Strong CNC programming, setup, and operating experience

Ability to independently perform machine setups

Experience making tool offsets and tooling adjustments

Strong understanding of CNC milling, tooling, and machining processes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience holding tight tolerances in a precision machining environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications

G-code programming experience

CAM software experience

Experience with prototype or low-volume precision machining

Experience in a certified or high-quality CNC machine shop environment Benefits This position offers: Competitive pay of
