General Responsibilities: Our internship and co op program offer practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. You'll work alongside professionals who live our Core Values: Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, and Prosperity every day. Eligible Majors Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or other related technical or business fields. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: What You'll Do
Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you growParticipate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership Every task supports Terracon's commitment to safety, strengthens our service to clients, and reflects the integrity and excellence behind our work.Key Learning Areas
Safe field and laboratory practices that reflect Terracon's "Safety First" culture ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards Proposal and technical report development Project management fundamentals Quality management systems that support reliable results Effective client communication and consulting skills
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields Interest in consulting and fieldwork Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon's values A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required
