Job Description:
Pay Range: $20.57hr - $23.57hr
Minimum 2 years experience with WMS, eMedNY, TABS, PHRED, WARM, AIA, and Microsoft Office Applications.
Proven ability to resolve conflicting coding in WMS and eMedNY.
Proven ability to assist voluntary agencies with troubleshooting basic Medicaid billing issues.
Proven ability to train other staff in WMS, eMedNY, TABS and other applications
Proficiency in and daily use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel and Crystal Report Designer.
Proof of 35 WPM typing speed.
Ability to perform data entry accurately and promptly.
Ability to prepare professional correspondence, forms or other documents in draft and final form using information obtained from the agency's proprietary databases and files.
Ability to work well with others, including those with developmental disabilities, in a fact paced office environment.
Ability to work professionally with other OPWDD departments in reviewing and correcting highly detailed documents such as Waiver Notices and Decisions and DOH Letters of Introduction.
Ability to resolve and track for resolution outstanding documentation
Professional verbal and written skills as shown by office experience with previous employers.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
Proven ability to complete general office duties including but not limited to filing, answering multi line telephones, copying, scanning, operating standard office machinery, e-faxing and opening, distributing and sending postal mail.
