Data Engineer, New York

This consultant will be supporting our cloud migration to Microsoft Fabric and enhance our data infrastructure. This contract role blends data engineering, backend API integration, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Migrate data to Microsoft Fabric and develop Spark Notebooks

Build and update data models for Power BI

Connect APIs (e.g., Google, HubSpot) to populate tables and lakehouses

Enhance Power BI reports with new visualizations and pages

Solve data pipeline and reporting issues with a hands-on approach

Requirements:

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Spark, and Power BI

Proficient in Python and API integration

Familiar with data lakes, structured tables, and backend work

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Mid-Level (3-5 years exp)
