Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager will drive strategic marketing and innovation initiatives for food and beverage applications within the Flavors and Encapsulates (F&E) business. The ideal candidate will rapidly develop a deep understanding of the business and lead effective marketing plans to support brand and business growth. This role demands strong B2B marketing experience and familiarity with internal innovation processes, coupled with knowledge of the food and beverage market landscape. The individual will be responsible for executing growth projects, including innovation and application-based initiatives. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, business development, and R&D is essential. This role requires capabilities in customer and market insight, trend analysis, marketing strategy, value proposition development, and communication.

Essential Functions:

Lead and manage strategic cross-brand portfolio initiatives aligned with business goals.

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies based on business objectives and market dynamics.

Collaborate with analytics teams to assess customer needs and market trends.

Plan and execute public relations campaigns for domestic and international initiatives.

Implement media campaigns, including paid/earned media, webinars, and whitepapers.

Create tools, training, and resources for sales to communicate product value effectively.

Provide marketing support to international distribution partners.

Serve as commercial lead for innovation projects, driving them through stage-gate processes to launch.

Generate and evaluate ideas based on customer insights and market opportunities.

Track industry reports and engage with stakeholders to understand demand for trends such as clean-label, plant-based, or functional ingredients.

Use data analytics to detect preference shifts like sugar reduction or allergen-free demands.

Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure strong, consistent brand messaging.

Develop differentiated value propositions and drive strategic portfolio positioning through campaign logic, value messaging, and gap analysis.

Requirements:

7 10 years of marketing experience in the B2B food and beverage ingredients sector.

Strong knowledge of B2B marketing tools and messaging; B2C marketing knowledge is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technical field; MBA preferred.

Proven track record of launching premium, value-driven ingredients.

Experience working across matrix organizations.

Effective planning, execution, and decision-making in fast-paced environments.

Strong analytical skills; experience with KPIs, CRM systems, and web analytics.
