BBSI is partnering with an industry leader in crane systems to find a talented Structural Engineer to help design and ensure the structural integrity of lifting systems used in industrial, aerospace, and commercial applications. This role offers the chance to work on specialized, hands-on projects from design through execution—all while collaborating with a dedicated team of mechanical, electrical, and structural expertsSo if you are a Licensed Civil or Structural Engineer looking to apply your skills in a unique and impactful way, we want to talk to you!
Duties: Conduct load and stress calculations and select appropriate materials Ensure compliance with industry codes (OSHA, ASCE, AISC, etc.) Collaborate with internal teams to integrate systems with existing infrastructure Review and approve technical drawings and project specificationsConduct site visits to assess structural conditions and provide solutions Create reports, documentation, and technical proposals
Qualifications: Active PE license (Professional Engineer) or in progress Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (structural or industrial construction preferred) Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis toolsDeep understanding of steel design and load-bearing systems Excellent problem-solver
