TS/SCI Test Automation Engineer, Fort Meade

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the validation and deployment of advanced software solutions within a secure environment. This role focuses on designing, executing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across functional, integration, and acceptance testing layers.

The ideal candidate will have experience building testing environments, developing automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate requirements into effective testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated tests across functional, integration, and acceptance levels

Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test environments

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment

Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage and software quality

Analyze test results and provide clear reporting and recommendations

Translate requirements into structured test plans and measurable outcomes

Support integration and validation across multiple systems and environments

Contribute to best practices for automation, testing, and quality assurance

Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

3-5+ years of experience in test automation, software testing, or similar role

Experience building and managing automated testing frameworks

Experience writing automated test scripts (Java, Python, C, or Bash)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Bamboo, or similar tools)

Experience setting up and managing testing environments and repositories

Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker or similar)

Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments
