Senior Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater | Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire

Oxford Solutions is working with a client looking to hire a Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in municipal water and wasterwater infrastructure. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to lead teams and projects from concept through construction. Contract-to-hire or direct hire options available.

Essential Functions

Lead the design and development of projects involving:

Pumping stations

Wastewater conveyance and collection systems

Water distribution systems

Pressure reducing valves and force mains

Oversee hydraulic modeling of existing and proposed systems

Conduct feasibility studies for water/wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure

Manage teams through project proposals, presentations, and design execution

Ensure full understanding and compliance with:

PA Act 537 Sewage Facility Planning process

NPDES and WQM permitting

Collaborate with senior leadership to define project scope, budget, and timelines

Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related)

PE license highly preferred (EIT with strong experience may be considered)

10+ years of engineering experience focused on water/wastewater infrastructure

Proficient with CAD, ArcGIS, and hydraulic modeling software

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Mechanical aptitude and ability to manage multiple projects
