O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable nonprofit organization to find their next Program Administrative Assistant. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to support executive leadership in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and strong communication across multiple departments and programs.
Program Administrative Assistant Compensation:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience Full-time position Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2 Employment Services Meaningful opportunity to support community-focused programs serving vulnerable populations throughout the North State Program Administrative Assistant - Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Services, or related field required Minimum of 1 year administrative support experience required Experience supporting management or executive leadership preferred Strong computer and organizational skills requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred Ability to create spreadsheets, reports, and professional documents required Strong communication and multitasking abilities required Valid California driver's license and insurable driving record preferredExperience in nonprofit, homeless services, behavioral health, housing, or social services environments preferred Experience with scheduling, data entry, reporting systems, meeting coordination, and executive support preferred Program Administrative Assistant - Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to executive and program leadership Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, trainings, travel arrangements, and organizational calendars Attend meetings for note taking, coordination, follow-up tracking, and administrative support Create spreadsheets, reports, presentations, tracking documents, and organizational materialsAssist with grant-related administrative support including document preparation, reporting assistance, and tracking requirements Maintain organized filing systems including digital and physical records Assist with data entry, reporting platforms, operational tracking systems, and administrative workflowsSupport leadership with email communication, correspondence preparation, scheduling coordination, and organizational follow-up tasks Assist with departmental reporting, occupancy reports, KPI tracking, and operational documentation Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational and participant informationCoordinate with leadership teams, community partners, hospitals, vendors, public agencies, and visitors Assist with office organization, supply management, audit preparation, and compliance documentation Travel between organizational locations and meetings as necessary Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
