Position will be transferred to River Ridge Elementary School starting the 2026-2027 school year (8.00 hrs/day) Shift Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break) SALARY: $18.88 - $25.38 per/hr - Range D Clerk Typist I (4.00 hrs/day) $18.05 - $24.28 per/hr - Range A Paraprofessional I (4.00 hrs/day) (Includes vacation factor) 182 workdays (14 District paid holidays) Includes contribution to a retirement system and access to health, dental, and vision benefits with District contribution.REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. Applicant must possess an AA Degree (or) have 48 semester units of college coursework (or) have passed the Paraprofessional Exam to qualify. Proof of meeting these requirements must be attached to application. Pass the General Clerical Exam at the 50th percentile or above. (Exam is administered by the District). Type 45 net words per minute on a 5-minute timed writing. (No on-line certificates accepted. Typing certificate must be submitted with application and may not be over one year old).
