Operations Specialist/Finance Analyst, Virginia

This position is contingent upon contract award  

 

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Operations Specialist/Finance Analyst to support a services contract in Doha, Qatar. The role will be based out of headquarters in Reston, Virginia.

Responsibilities:
Support the program management team.

Support the program Finance Manager.

Track program performance data.

Manage program data using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and other automation tools.

Support deployment preparations for employees including travel scheduling, LOAs, CAC cards, work visa coordination.

Support planning efforts.

Prepare and track purchase requests in support of programs.

Track program financial objectives, budgets, and schedules.

Maintain monthly Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) for the program.

Monitor costs and subcontractor/vendor financial performance and billing.

Ensure timely, accurate, and complete billing to the customer.

Interface with corporate finance team.

Prepare reports.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Associates degree with 4 years of experience or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree may be substituted.

4 years of financial management experience with 2 years of experience supporting a U.S. Government program.

Proficient with Costpoint accounting system specifically in project set up, review, revenue worksheet, project status reports and knowledge of general ledger.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Maximo & TM1 is nice to have but not required.

Working Conditions:
Reston, VA office environment with potential for some temporary duty at program location.

10% travel.
