Developer III, Virginia

Job Description: The Application Developer is responsible for performing high complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate will also resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Create and enforce Sentinel policies to ensure compliance and governance in infrastructure deployments.
Implement and manage GitLab-based DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Perform system-level application analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
Resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Solid knowledge of Terraform, Sentinel, and GitLab.
Strong understanding of current programming languages and technologies to solve business needs.
Experience with one or more of the following: Hashicorp HCL, Python, Java

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Professional certification(s) in relevant technologies desired.
5-10 years of software development experience across the appropriate platform.
Solid IT background and experience.
Experience as an application developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility.
