Senior Financial Analyst, Virginia

Job Description

The Role:  The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) by providing detailed financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the organization. This position will be responsible for assisting in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, as well as developing financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience with modern financial tools and software. 

In-Office Position: At Strategy, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home. 

Your Focus: 

Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. 

Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. 

Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis. 

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and the board of directors. 

Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial discipline and accountability across the organization. 

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
