z/OS Systems Programmer

Ashburn, VA / Pensacola, FL / Winchester, VA



Duration : 2 plus years ongoing

Key Requirements:

• zOS Systems Programming experience.

• ISV Support experience.

• Storage Management experience.

• Ability to configure DS8886 storage subsystems.

• Ability to configure TS7700 tape grid.

• Ability to set up and administer GDPS Hyper swap.

• Ability to set up and administer GDPS Global Mirror.

• IBM System Automation on z/OS Administrative Experience.

• GDPS administrator experience.

• Able to program in REXX.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Additional experience but not required

o OMEGAMON TEP or SysView administrator experience.

o OPS/MVS administrator experience.

o Full life-cycle project management: Establish and lead project teams, Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications, Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality, Risk, Issue and Change management, Ensure successful project implementation, and Scope of responsibility / Broad scope.
