Description
Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead key accounting and financial operations during a transitional period. This role will oversee core accounting functions, ensure strong internal controls, and deliver accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership experience and strong expertise with Sage Intacct. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly account reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate close processes Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies Manage and review revenue recognition and related accounting activities Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with leadership Prepare and present financial statements and management reports Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders Manage and mentor two accountants, providing oversight and development Serve as primary lead for audit support, including coordinating with external auditors Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational financial standards Systems&Tools Required: Sage Intacct Preferred: Bill.com, Concur Qualifications Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting Experience managing teams and overseeing multiple accounting functions Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach suited for an interim environment Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills IND4
