JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supervisor, Warehousing to join our growing team.
External Job Description American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the nation's largest suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Warehouse Supervisor to assist our Distribution Divisions in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain high quality standards
Inspect incoming loads
Maintain facility housekeeping standards
Use a forklift to load trucks
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Attention to detail on all paperwork and documentation
Consistently adhere to safe work practices
Determine disposition of returned products from previous day's deliveries
Record returns in return product recap report
Schedule the daily duties of the shipping crew including the coordination of loading, associated paperwork and routing of products for daily deliveries
Verify order paperwork to piece counts of daily loads and perform quality control checks of product before loading
Transpose daily piece counts into productivity report database
Research missing product to determine its whereabouts and/or work with Production Manager to determine if production was completed
Verify that loads are complete and properly loaded for next day's delivery
Serve as liaison between the warehouse and the sales department to troubleshoot missing product and/or the status of product scheduled for delivery
Serve as liaison between the warehouse and the accounting department to verify disposition of outstanding invoices and billing discrepancies
Prepare warehouse for and conduct weekly inventory cycle counts
Train new staff and existing staff as required
Evaluate, coach and/or discipline staff as required
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read and write English.
3-5 years warehouse experience preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $60,****** to $100,****** per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
