Job Description:
As an Internal Auditor, you will help plan and conduct moderately complex audits of internal controls covering a broad range of the company’s operations to determine if functional areas are conducting operations in accordance with established guidelines, policies, procedures and governmental and legal requirements. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

Responsible for completing assigned areas within scheduled audits. 

Perform audit procedures, including auditee interviews, process documentation, identification of risks and controls, and test plan development. 

Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed 

Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit engagements via written reports and oral presentations to management 

Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships 

Prepare reports that present the results of audits and recommend corrective actions clearly and concisely. 

Research issues and make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly. 

Work with outside auditors to help reconcile discrepancies or support the external auditing function. 

Maintains independence and objectivity. 

 

Qualifications:
 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:  

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.  Master’s degree highly desirable. 

Requires at least 1 year of related experience, which could include internships. 

Certification or certification candidacy required (CPA, CIA, CFE or CISA). 

Must have strong computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication. 

Ability to travel up to 15%.

This role is based in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $64,000 - $84,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
