/ppCapital One is seeking an innovative, data-focused, self-motivated Senior Auditor interested in becoming part of our Consumer Lending Audit team.
As a member of the Consumer Lending Audit team, the candidate will focus on planning and performing operational and compliance audits for Capital Ones US Card and Auto Finance businesses.
/ppResponsibilities:/pulliPerform risk assessments of business activities and perform relevant testing based on the risks and processes associated with the area being audited.
Assist in communicating issues, risks and recommendations to all levels of management.
/liliOperate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and meets our high-quality standards.

/liliLeverage available data and analytical tools during the planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery.

/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree or military experience/liliAt least 2 years of experience in auditing, at least 2 years of experience in accounting, at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, at least 2 years of experience in risk management, at least 2 years of experience in compliance, at least 1 year of experience performing data analytics or developing data solutions in support of internal audit, at least 1 year of experience using structured query language (SQL), data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI), and artificial intelligence/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliMasters Degree in Auditing, Masters Degree in Accounting, Masters Degree in Information Systems or Master of Business Administration/liliCertified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or relevant certification/lili2+ years of experience in banking, financial services industry, professional services firm serving clients in large banks, or a combination/lili1+ year of experience utilizing AI-assisted tools in support of internal audit/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
/ppCharlotte, NC: $87,700 - $100,100 for Senior Staff AuditorMcLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Senior Staff AuditorPlano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Senior Staff AuditorRichmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Senior Staff Auditor/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
/ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
