Role Overview

Captains at Jashan are senior service professionals who own the guest journey for their section while supporting the energy, flow, and professionalism of the entire dining room. You will set the tone, guide the pace, and serve as a model for excellence on the floor.

What You’ll Do

Lead service for your section from welcome to farewell Guide guests through menu, pacing, and experience with clarity and confidence Maintain control of timing, table needs, and room awareness Collaborate with kitchen, management, and service team to ensure smooth execution Support guest recovery with professionalism and discretionMentor junior team members and uphold service standards Participate in training, pre‑service preparation, and ongoing development Help maintain a polished, warm, and controlled environment What We’re Looking For

Fine dining or upscale service experience strongly preferred Experience in chef‑driven restaurants or tasting menu service is a plus Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence Comfort discussing wine pairings and beverage options Traits That Matter to Us
