Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.

Step into a vital support role assisting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a dynamic educational environment near Plano, TX.
This full-time contract opportunity spans the ********* academic year, working on-site (no virtual options) with a dedicated team committed to making a difference.
The assignment involves 37.5 hours per week, focusing on therapy services within a regional program designed specifically for DHH students—from early elementary through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Texas SLP license required
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or DHHT certification needed
Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP roles preferred
Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and school multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially within collaborative therapy models
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in the DHH program
Collaborate with two other SLPs to manage a caseload of approximately 130 students, focusing on therapy delivery
Participate in planning and implementation of student-specific goals
Contribute to comprehensive educational and therapeutic support, adjusting strategies for each student's needs
Complete necessary documentation and progress reporting in a timely manner
Engage actively with families, educators, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
Special Notes:
Fingerprinting clearance through the Texas Education Agency is required prior to starting; plan accordingly for processing time if not recently completed in another public school district.
