SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an

AutoCAD Designer

for a client in Plano TX. The

AutoCAD Designer

helps bring innovative acoustical products to life in our fast-growing manufacturing environment. If you're a detail-oriented SolidWorks expert with a passion for precision and efficiency, we want to hear from you! SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ( $23

/hr ) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) .

Available shifts include: 1st 7am-4:30pm

Responsibilities of the AutoCAD Designer

Create 3D models and production-ready drawings using SolidWorks sheet metal functions. Develop flat patterns optimized for cutting with industrial flatbed cutters. Generate detailed production drawings with Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ensure accuracy and consistency in drafting practices. Work closely with engineering, production, and CNC operators to ensure smooth manufacturing execution.Assist in developing custom solutions based on client needs and production constraints. Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of flat pattern development and sheet metal design. Experience generating detailed production drawings and BOMs. Knowledge of configurations and derived configurations for efficient design modifications. Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.About Surestaff
