Design Drafter, Virginia

We’re looking for a Design Drafter to support our clients Power Generation business unit. If you’ve got a sharp eye for design, solid drafting skills, and experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a highly collaborative environment.

What you’ll do:

Organize and maintain engineering and construction documents—including drawings, diagrams, Word and PDF files.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and station personnel to locate, revise, and manage technical drawings.

Handle submittal documents from third-party vendors and consultants.

Operate both small and large format plotters for drawing modifications and printouts.

What we’re looking for:

3–5 years of drafting experience, ideally supporting engineering or construction teams.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to read and interpret technical charts and maps.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Basic understanding of construction and drafting principles.

Bonus points if you have:

An Associate’s Degree (or equivalent hands-on experience that demonstrates your capability)
